After a long day of exploring the beautiful countryside, I was welcomed by David and his daughter at the secluded lodge, along with their friendly dog Billy. the breakfast options were plentiful, including freshly baked bread and homemade jams. the hot tub was a relaxing treat, perfect for unwinding after a day of walking. the lodge itself was spacious and cozy, with a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed. One of the highlights of my stay was the serene garden, where I had the pleasure of seeing deer roaming around. the surrounding area was peaceful and quiet, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. the local pub, just a short walk away, served delicious food and added to the overall charm of the experience. Overall, my stay at David's lodge was a delightful retreat, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and tranquility. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape the city and connect with nature. I can't wait to return for another peaceful getaway.
